JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Start date- July 2, 2026 End date- August 28, 2026

Community Food Program Liaisons will be in charge of setting up at each distribution location, distributing food program items, and engaging with the SCSD families and Schenectady residents participating in the program. The Liaisons will also gather necessary reporting data, as needed. Community Food Program Liaisons will work with the districts Community School Coordinator and the districts Food Service Manager to monitor vendor compliance with the rules of this grant program (i.e., vendors must document that raw product ingredients are grown in New York State, lightly processed foods contain at least 51% of New York State ingredients, with the remaining ingredients sourced within 400 miles of the processor). Reliable transportation to and from each distribution site is required. Shifts will be two days a week: Tuesday 2:30pm-6:30pm and Friday 11:00am-3:00pm

SALARY:  $17.50/hour
